Lake Winnebago

Wisconsin’s largest inland lake is a center of fall fun. Lake Winnebago is a recreational treasure, offering world-class fishing. It’s a great time to go after walleye. Paddlers can explore a picturesque shoreline lined with trees. The lake also offers plenty of open water for power boaters and reliable winds for sailboats. Water Walks

Enjoy fall colors on a beautiful walkway that follows the Fox River in the heart of downtown Oshkosh. It’s a popular place to stroll, run and bike, and it’s a great place for birdwatchers to observe migratory birds. Birds are on the move in the autumn and they provide an ongoing show. The River Walk passes outstanding shops and restaurants and boaters can tie up for free along this beautiful walkway. Another place for a beautiful stroll on the water is the Terrell’s Island Trail on Lake Butte des Morts.
